Men should be allowed to speak.
You have an opinion. You have an experience. You have seen something worth writing about. We want to hear it.
What we publish
We accept four kinds of contribution. Every one of them must be genuine — based on something you actually thought, experienced or witnessed.
- Opinion pieces — a clear argument you are willing to defend, in 600–1,500 words.
- Personal essays — an experience you have lived through, told honestly, in 800–2,000 words.
- Recommendations — a place, product, service or experience you actually know, in 300–800 words.
- Reader responses — a reply to something we published, in 200–600 words.
What we will not publish
- Content that insults, humiliates or attacks a group of people.
- Fabricated experiences or invented facts.
- Plagiarised material.
- Anything that reads like an advertisement disguised as a story.
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented without qualification.
How submission works
- You submit through the form.
- An editor reads it within 7 working days.
- If we want to publish it, we contact you with a proposed edit.
- If we cannot publish it, we may still reach out with feedback or an idea for a different angle.
- We do not guarantee publication. Submission is not a contract.
What we pay
At launch, we do not pay for reader contributions. What we offer instead is a real editorial platform, an editor who takes the piece seriously, and a permanent byline on a publication that treats its writers as people rather than content producers.
Before you submit
- Read at least three pieces on the site so you understand our voice.
- Write the piece you actually want to write, not the piece you think we want.
- Say something. Do not summarise what everyone else already says.
- If you reference facts, link to your sources.
- Make it clear when something is your opinion and when it is a fact.
